EverQuest II[1] is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) for PCs. Developed by Sony Online Entertainment, EverQuest II was released in the U.S. and Canada on November 8, 2004. In the game, players team up to go on adventures in the EverQuest II virtual world.

$19.99 to download the base game from Sony or Gamestop. You can also purchase a game installation disc of the base game, EverQuest II: Classic for around $9.99 at EB Games or Amazon[2] .
After installing the game, you will need to purchase an online subscription to play. Subscriptions cost $14.99 a month or $77.99 for six months.

Expansion Packs introduce many new plots and areas, new game features, items, creatures, and sometimes a new player race. They cost $30-$40 each and are available at Sony.com[6] .
Players can buy and sell EverQuest II goods on Sony's Station Exchange[7] , which provides secure player-to-player transactions of characters, items, and coin, usually through auctions. The prices vary depending on how hard it is to obtain the item or how high the level is of the character.
