Today, Palm Pres are typically sold through online auction sites for $10-$60. The Palm Pre was the first platform to use webOS, Palm's Linux-based mobile operating system. Verizon and AT&T provided phone plans for Palm models, but ceased to carry the models as supplies were depleted in 2011.The webOS platform[1] is currently available as an open source product[2] .
