Televisions are a central part of many families' homes. Currently, LCD televisions are the most popular style sold and the most popular sizes are from 30"-50", with larger and larger televisions becoming the standard. Plasma televisions are also popular with consumers, but are not available smaller than 42" screens. Rear-projection screens are still available for larger than 70" models, but are only made by Mitsubishi and choices are limited.
