Nintendo unveiled the DS Lite system on June 11, 2006. It offers a Wi-Fi connection and two LCD screens that can be controlled with a stylus or fingertip.
 
Typical costs:
  • The Nintendo DS Lite hand-held console retails for $130. They come in three colors - red, blue and pink.
  • Several bundles are on the market, with a variety of games and accessories tailored to buyers' tastes. For example, Walmart packages the consoles with other Nintendo DS Lite accessories for a price of $150 -$190. In the bundles, customers are sold the console with a choice of one accessory and two games, or a starter kit and two games.
What should be included:
  • The Nintendo DS Lite includes a stylus which slides into a storage slot on the side.
Additional costs:
  • There are dozens of games available for the Nintendo DS Lite priced $10 -$35. Top sellers include Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Miniland Mayhem and Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell.
  • The AC adapter and the travel power pack each cost about $15.
